See What's New in the 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe at Our Winston Salem Dealership Serving High Point & Greensboro

A stylish and powerful full-sized SUV, the new 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe continues to improve upon past iterations, and you'll be able to find the trim level and setup that works for you and your family. Explore all your new 2017 Tahoe options by visiting our Winston Salem, NC Chevrolet dealership serving High Point, Mt Airy, Greensboro and Kernersville, and we'll set you up with the SUV that makes sense for your travel needs.

First, let's take a quick look at what's new in the 2017 Tahoe, one of our largest new Chevy models here in Winston Salem. First of all, the top trim level has been appropriately renamed as Premier, instead of the previous version's LTZ edition. New features in the Tahoe include low-speed automatic braking which pairs with the forward collision warning system. Ventilated seats replace the cooled seating from the previous edition, while a teen-drive management system is a great addition for parents of teen drivers who might be taking the Tahoe out alone.

2017 Chevy Tahoe Performance

An SUV as large as the eight- or nine-passenger Tahoe needs the power and performance to get going. That's afforded by the 5.3-liter V-8 engine that produces 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard, though you can opt for four-wheel drive with a single-speed transfer case, and other packages adjust your capabilities in that sense. When properly equipped, your Tahoe can tow between 8,400 and 8,600 pounds, making this SUV a great choice if you need to haul a fairly large trailer behind you.

2017 Chevy Tahoe Features and Safety

Offered in three trim levels - LS, LT and Premier - the Tahoe is packed full of features and equipment that either come standard in the base edition, or are added or upgraded in the two higher trims. These include - but certainly are not limited to - folding second and third row seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, the MyLink infotainment system, OnStar emergency telematics, an 8-inch touchscreen and smartphone integration apps. Higher trim levels add leather upholstery and upgraded audio systems, while special packages add even more to the fold. For safety, the Tahoe comes with optional features like forward collision warning, lane departure warning, a safety-alert driver seat, and more.

As you can see, there's a lot to love in the new Tahoe, so find yours by heading over to Modern Chevrolet today.
