What's New in the 2018 Chevy Colorado?

With plenty of success in its 2017 edition, the new 2018 Colorado only receives minor changes. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration is now standard, as is the 7-inch infotainment screen, which is larger than the previous 4.2-inch setup.

Performance and Capabilities in Winston Salem

There are three engine options available for the new 2018 Colorado, starting off with the base truck's 2.5-liter four-cylinder, which offers 200 horsepower and 191 pound-feet of torque that's matched with a six-speed manual transmission. Moving up to higher trims, you'll be able to choose either a turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine (181 horsepower with 369 pound-feet of torque), or a 3.6-liter V-6 that tops 300 horsepower to go along with 275 pound-feet of torque. You'll earn up to 26 mpg on the highway with the starting four-cylinder, a solid figure for a truck with these capabilities.
